Rosanne McIntyre
Principal
Rosanne McIntyre has been a fixture at Brookwood School serving students in a variety of positions since 2001. She taught Kindergarten, as well as Grades 1,3,4 and 6 and was an Inclusive Education Partner before joining the Administrative team. She became an Acting Assistant Principal in 2019 and since 2020-2021, has held the positions of Assistant Principal, Inclusive Education Lead and served as Acting Principal for 3 months at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year. She has also taught at Paul First Nation and Cold Lake First Nation prior to joining PSD.
Mrs. McIntyre attended Concordia University College and transferred to the University of Alberta graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor of Elementary Education and a minor in Sociology. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Elementary Education with a focus on Literacy. In 2023, Rosanne returned to the University of Alberta once more to complete a Graduate Certificate in School Leadership.
