Kindergarten

Blueberry School has full-day Kindergarten. Kindergarten days are Mondays, Wednesdays and occasional Fridays.

Please watch the classroom and school newsletters as well as the school website calendar for details throughout the year.

We have an open house information evening for parents in February and a test drive every May/June for kindergarten students entering Blueberry School in the Fall. Please sign your child up ahead of time in order to participate. Parents who have registered their child for Kindergarten will be notified of the details in advance.

Kindergarten Handbook

This booklet introduces you to the Kindergarten Program your child will be involved in this year. We hope it will answer many of the questions you may have regarding this first important year in school. A monthly newsletter will be sent home with more specific information about the happenings in our classroom.

Kindergarten Registration

Registration requirements for Kindergarten are the same as those for Grades 1 through 12. For more information, please visit the Parkland School Division Registration page.
If you are interested in registering your child for our full-time Kindergarten program, please contact our school after you have completed the regular PSD registration process.
A child entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old by the last day of December of the school year in which he or she begins Kindergarten.
Kindergarten programs are offered on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday with alternating Fridays.
